I don't know about you, but I absolutely love finding new recipes to try out in the kitchen. And lucky for me (and you!), I happened upon some amazing recipe templates on Pinterest that I just had to share. And what better way to share them than with some step-by-step instructions and mouth-watering photos?

Grilled Lemon-Herb Chicken

Grilled Lemon-Herb Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Clean and pat dry chicken.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic, basil, rosemary, thyme, lemon zest and juice.
  4. Rub herb mixture all over the chicken, both on the outside and under the skin.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Place chicken on grill, breast-side down.
  7. Cook for 10 minutes, then flip the chicken over and cook for another 10 minutes.
  8. Lower heat to medium and continue cooking until internal temperature reaches 165°F, about 30-40 minutes more.
  9. Remove chicken from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before carving and serving.

Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  5. Mix in flour mixture until just combined.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and scoop dough onto sheet in 1-inch balls.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
  9. Remove from oven and let cool on sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
